Here it is November 2025 and I’m deciding what next to present to my readers. I have been studying Astrology since 1973, and as a Scorpio researcher-type, I have information overload in my files. I found scans of my introductory lesson on Arabian Parts from 2000. Since we all must begin somewhere and then build on good basics, this article does that. The roots haven’t changed, so this introduction creates a solid base to help continue the study of the multitude of AP techniques currently available. Because so many years have elapsed, I re-read the material to prepare notes for my current readers.

Page 1, last paragraph, oops 7 Sco 46 should be 7 Sco 56.

Page 2, AP as they fit… 4th Father, 10th Mother. In our continually changing society, these modern roles can be interchangeable between the parents, so keep an open mind relative to which house belongs to which parent.

Page 2, seven planets referred to are 7 “bodies”. Sun and Moon are not planets.

Page 2 Rectification note: I have not taken an AFA exam in many moons, so I am not sure if Latitude or Declination of APs are currently required. Check current AFA instructions. If needed, this is your “how-to”. If not needed, ignore.

Pages 3-7, AP, my personal collective table from my source titles and authors used: i.e.: * provided by author at end of table.

Page 7 last sentence. I Googled Educational Astrology today and was unable to get current info. It may not still be in business.

Page 8 two wheels for photocopying: Cut out, place smaller one on top of larger, connect with a clothing snap in the center so each can rotate freely. One is for natal; one is for Aps. Try both possibilities to determine which is more useful to you.

Page 9 Crash of Flight 900 Egyptair example. Note there is one natal wheel for two events, takeoff and final crash into the ocean, which were only 33 minutes apart. I did not think two charts were necessary for that short interval. The narrative illustrates the fateful activations for the tragedy. The breakdown at the bottom of the page shows definitive activation of very specific APs. Note the four final sentences on that page. Amazing!

Pages 10-13 are various author’s AP descriptions for each main AP placement.

Oh, one more note: I always use very tight orbs.
